Speed, quality and delivery – Kraatz delivers! We were proud of the successful replacement of two old and worn eccentric platforms for Rossing mine. Our dedicated team supplied the material, fabricated the new platforms in our Walvis Bay workshop and delivered them to the mine.

‍At the mine, Kraatz tackled the challenging task of dismantling and removing the old platforms – no small feat considering these massive structures weigh approximately 7,5 tons (each)! The new platforms were then expertly rigged and installed.

We had just 15 days to strip old platforms and install new ones, as the primary crusher could only cease operations for a limited period during the SHUT. No problem for Kraatz!
